Gold Rush Rogue is a compact, solo card game that turns a standard poker deck into a randomly generated dungeon. You are a rogue miner who has broken into an abandoned gold mine. The tunnels are filled with gold, monsters, potions, and keys – but every step you take collapses the path behind you.

Your goal: escape through the Door with as much gold as possible. Fight or flee, upgrade your hero, and push your luck. But be careful – greed can be fatal.

🎮 What's Inside

• 18 custom cards (poker size, ready to print):
  • 3 Heroes: Explorer, Warrior, Rogue
  • 10 Treasures (permanent upgrades)
  • 5 Doors (increasing difficulty ranks)
• Uses a standard 52‑card deck (no jokers needed)
• Only requires pencil and paper for tracking stats

⚔️ How It Works

1. Choose your hero – each has unique Vision, HP, Strength, and inventory capacity.
2. Build the mine – deal a grid of cards from the standard deck (3×3 up to 7×7).
3. Explore – on your turn, reveal cards within your vision, then move to an adjacent cell.
4. Resolve what you find:
   • ♦ Gold – collect it for points.
   • ♥ Potions – heal or save for later.
   • ♣ Keys – needed to open the Door.
   • ♠ Monsters – fight them using your Strength. Defeat elites (J, Q, K, A) to earn powerful Treasures!
5. Manage risk – clear a cell and it collapses (you cannot go back). If you get stuck, you can Search in empty cells – but each extra dig costs HP.
6. Escape – reach the Door and open it using a high‑value key, or force it by bashing, bribing, or combining keys.
